Hi, I'm Shain Allen, a Gameplay programmer currently enrolled in the Digital gaming and interactive media program at Lake Washington Institute of Technology.
My preferred focus in game design/programming is core mechanics and getting a smooth and rewarding gameplay loop. I strive to create experiences that are on the same level of polish as the games I enjoy playing such as Factorio, Satisfactory, Space Engineers, the Farming Simulator series, and many others. I thrive in the fine details such as making sure that the UI interaction is smooth and responsive; that the player doesn't catch on to things that they shouldn't; removing micro stutters; and many other small details that often get missed.
